About my Blog

But I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the actual teachings of the great explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happiness. No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful. Nor again is there anyone who loves or pursues or desires to obtain pain

Struggling.

I'm having a problem this week:

I don't care.

That is the problem; it's also how I FEEL about the problem.

I know motivation is a decision, not an emotion.
I know I overate yesterday.
I know I'm not getting nearly enough calorie-burning exercise in every week.
I know in order to report a loss (or even just maintenance at this point!), I probably need two good fasting days yet before weigh-in.
I KNOW these things....

But I just. don't. care.

HELP!!!!!!

I battle those "i don't care" days (and weeks) too! Especially now, not being in my competition. This weekend has been particularly that way. Sigh...it's a never-ending battle isn't it?

You do care...or you wouldn't be writing all of these things that you can do to make the things you want to happen...happen!

My biggest thing is to think about how I will feel the next time I step on the scale. Do I want to say, well I didn't lose anything because of the pizza and cupcake day...maybe next week. You know why....so try to stop it from happening this week. Fresh start...pick yourself up friend...we are here to help.

HUGS!!! (hope you didn't take any of that as yelling, just my 2 cents..I've needed other peoples cents alot this winter!)

Maybe you need to add exercising and fasting and stuff into your Flylady routines :)

*hugs* you can totally get back on track. but definitely not until you want to.

do you need to step on the scale a few days early to snap you back into it?

Hang in there!! Why is it that BOTH of us can't be motivated at the same time!?!?! It seems that when your up I'm down, and vice versa. Maybe that's so we can continue to spur one another on. I tried to "double blog" a post this morning, but I couldn't get Live Writer to cooperate. Gonna try something else, but if that doesn't work, be sure to check out my "I'm A Loser" post at TC. I love ya, and I'm rooting for ya, and WE CAN DO THIS!!!
