About my Blog

But I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the actual teachings of the great explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happiness. No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful. Nor again is there anyone who loves or pursues or desires to obtain pain

Weigh-in Wednesday ~ tammi

Sisterhood of the Shrinking JeansMaintenance week. ::sigh::

I have not kept track of my food intake since Friday morning and I have not followed the eating plan. There has been snacking, over-eating, eating full meals when I should have been eating half meals, and eating ANYHING when I should have been eating nothing. My husband was home from Friday night till last night, and on not ONE of those days did I go for a walk or a run.

And I can't even blame Thanksgiving ~ we got that over with way back in the first half of October.

I have NOT been "walking the talk."

Must give myself the obviously necessary kick in the backside, because I really do want to be under 155 by Christmas. That means only another pound, but it will get increasingly more difficult to achieve as we get closer and closer to the holidays. Not to mention all the celebrations, feasts, and family gatherings that will begin in only THREE weeks!

At least you know where you went wrong, right?!!! You can do this Tammi! It's time to lace up those shoes and hit the pavement. Start keeping track of what you're eating, too. You will feel SO much better when that scale dips below 155!!!!

YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!

Christmas is hard for pretty much everyone.

Around here (I'm government) we get treats from all around the county. Its so hard to stay focused.

But we must! I'm not sure how gluttony because the primary way we celebrate the birth of our Savior.

While it isn't ideal, the fact that you maintained while NOT tracking is GREAT!!

Now you know what you have to do to get back on track. I know you can do it!

All right - here's the kick in the pants you requested. (I know you said you give yourself one, but since I'm a Tammy too, and related, I figure I can do it too)

You know what you need to do to lose that one pound, so you get out there and DO IT! No more talking about it - you do it. I know you can, you know you can - so let's see some results!!

I am expecting a great post next week.

Now, ice your butt after all that kicking and get movin'!

I need an angelic smiley face right now I think. :)
