I was expecting to see a loss of 1.4, not a gain.
So I end off this 8-week challenge with an overall loss of just 3 lbs. Blah.
I think it's time I admit I need to follow some kind of concrete PLAN again if I really want to see results. "Everything in moderation" is all fine and dandy, but I need more than just a general concept in my head. I need to know for certain BEFORE the food gets to my mouth how "moderation" is supposed to look! And I need to be able to evaluate each day, each meal, quantitatively and qualitatively, so I don't just think I've probably done poorly or "okay," but so that I know exactly where I did well and where I need to improve next meal.
So that will be my goal for the next week. Establishing a plan and, if necessary, making myself a little chart or journal to fill out each day.
battle-ready plan of attack
formulated by the time the
next challenge begins!

good luck with the plan! i've been stumbling around hoping for the best and it just doesn't cut it.
First, congratulations on your 3 pound weight loss. Celebrate that victory. Next, I am in the same boat, on this challenge i've also realized that I need to plan. We can help each other!
You win! You lost a total of 3 pounds. I gained 1 pound!
Yes, a plan would be good. I've managed to stick with my commitment of not drinking pop...for almost two months now. I need to make another small commitment and stick with it.
I think I want my next commitment to be no desserts or sweets, other than fruit.
I've thought about journaling, but I don't want my blog to be taken over with boring food and exercise updates. I'm thinking about starting a second blog just for this.
We can do this!
First, congratulatons on the 3 pound loss. Any loss is a good loss. Also, best of luck coming up with a plan. I started Weight Watchers a few weeks ago and it makes a huge difference just logging my food intake. I actually feel like I am eating more now thn I did before. Just now my choices are good choices. Good luck with the next challenge.
Congrats on the overall loss! I, too, have been struggling to find a plan that fits. Hope we find one!!
Congratulations on your loss!!! Embrace it, because you came out ahead during this challenge.
Journaling is key. Planning is key. You won't find the success you want if you fly by the seat of your pants, so get serious girl! You CAN do this!!!
I think the overall challenge loss is terrific. Be proud of that! And definitely figure out a game plan and you will lose even more. :)
You still lost overall and deserve a good job and congratulations! When I was at a plateau, journaling my food/workouts really, really helped me!
You know what they say...If you fail to plan, you plan to fail! Trite, but true!
I can't wait to see what you come up with!
