The possibilities of me reaching my goal for this challenge are getting slimmer and slimmer. (unlike myself...) I KNOW what I need to do, but I have been too weak-willed to force myself to do it lately.
This was my plan for this last week:
- no desserts, under ANY circumstances ~ FAIL. Had one or two handfuls of hubby's homemade chocolate chip cookies at least three days. Had dessert after supper the night we were invited out to friends.'
- fruit/veggie snacks ONLY ~ yeah, right. FAIL!
- two successful fasting days ~ I barely managed to fast between meals. FAIL.
- at least three 2-mile walks and three days doing the 100pushup/200situp/200squat challenge (details at the bottom of the sidebar) ~ only one day of situps/pushups/squats, but I did get in 4 walks because hubby's still not working. PASS... barely!
My plan for this week:
- remember to make sure my stomach growls at least twice a day
- complete week 2 of the 100/200/200 challenge
- two successful fasting days
- at least 3 walks or 30-minute workouts

Well, it sounds like you have a plan- logging your food will help. Tedious I know but helpful. Also, there are low-fat, low-calorie alternatives when you have to have dessert. I eat ice cream sandwiches all the time - skinny cow 145 calories and 1.4 grams of fat.
time to dust yourself off and get back at it. you're too strong to not make this work!!
Just get back on the horse and try again...But a word of advice. Telling yourself that you can NOT eat one dessert all week sets you up for serious deprivation and failure. And more beating up of yourself. You have to splurge sometimes. Make it a very teeny splurge, but do it. Also, while exercising, it isn't a great idea to be fasting. :p
Maybe your husband can skip making any desserts this week, so the temptation is not so close to home. Or, build in a "light" dessert to 1-2 of your meals, make it special.
Dust your pants off and jump back on the wagon- we'll gladly have you!

Don't lose hope, Tammi! You CAN do this. I know you can. You've had successful weeks in the past, and you know what you need to do!!!
Chin up. Tell your husband I'll pop him if he makes any cookies this week, and TOTALLY get some Skinny Cow ice creams. Weight Watchers Giant Fudge Bars are awesome, too. Everyone needs a little sweet in their life, just make sure it's the right sweet :)
You can do it....look deep inside for the reasons you want to do it, and I bet you will gain strength from that!
We're here for you....we've all been there (some of US more recently than others)!
I'm with the rest of them on the Skinny Cows!!
You can do this!
Skinny cows are the bomb. Just sayin.
You can DO this. Keep your chin up, breathe and most importantly, don't beat yourself up.
And tell your husband no baking...(though it's kind of awesome that he DOES bake - my husband can't even make cereal...). ;)
This is one big game of "what works and what doesn't." logging food helps, you know that now and that's ok! so you had one slow week, so what! you're still on the journey, you'll find your way, I know it! Here's to meeting your goals this week!
I have to agree ever since April blogged about Skinny Cow I usually have something of theirs in my freezer. Then when I feel like having it I know at least it's a better choice than others. I really like the drumsticks. You can do it. Next week will be better. =)
Okay, I'm adding another goal to your weekly goals. You will not key the word "fail" anymore. We do not fail on this journey, we learn. You can do this. I know you can.
Hang in there...I know you can do it!
ps: love the new blog look
